Savernake Forest Evening Cricket League

Welcome to new Savernake Evening Cricket League web site ....

Welcome to the web site for the Savernake Evening Cricket League and associated Knockout Cup competitions, which will be used for the 2011 season.

The League was first contested in 1977 and now comprises 7 teams for the 2011 season, which are located near Savernake Forest, Marlborough, in the county of Wiltshire.

League matches are played on a Wednesday evening starting at 6.15pm and are limited to 15 eight ball overs per team.

The League also runs an associated Knockout Cup which is contested by the member teams.

During the winter, we also run an associated Indoor Cricket League at Marlborough Leisure Centre which normally runs from November through to the end of March.

Any new teams wishing to enter the Evening League for 2011 or the Indoor League for winter 2011/12 should contact either Peter Mathias, Ivor Rowell or Bob Cady as soon as possible(click on "About Us" link and see section "Joining Savernake Forest Evening Cricket League").
